Eileen Breen | 2023 NT AgriFutures Rural Award Winner

I grabbed a copy of Country Style magazine at the airport on the way home – what an absolute high to end an amazing week on! I love the article so much and seriously can’t thank you enough for all your PR support on this incredible RWA journey.

Regional PR have been absolute rockstars and I can’t emphasise how much you have helped me navigate the very unfamiliar and sometimes scary space of PR and media. I’ve come away with a whole new skill set and confidence to tell my story, and the platform and exposure this has provided our business is immeasurable.

Grace Brennan | Buy From The Bush

“Georgie Robertson has been a critical contributor to our business. Her energy, insights and instincts are invaluable. She is, in my opinion, one of regional Australia’s heroes. She has been responsible for elevating the voice of rural communities, shining a spotlight on their stories and their talent and fostering a stronger connection between the bush and the city. With an unquenchable curiosity, great gut instinct and a razor-sharp eye for a good news angle, she is the very best kind of publicist.”

Mia Campbell | Connected Au

In early 2020 I founded Connected AU, a business with a mission to fight loneliness. My flagship program The Letterbox Project grew rapidly and with the growth, an interest in media surged. I was quietly confident that I would be able to handle any media opportunities, given my background as a lawyer and my natural love for speaking, I presumed these skills would translate well to the media. I quickly realised that the media is a very unique ‘space’ and that I had no transferrable skills. The media opportunities came and went and I did not use any of the opportunities well, I did not convey my message appropriately, I did not understand how to interact or engage with the media to obtain a desired outcome.

Towards the end of 2020 I began to completely decline all media requests because of the unease I was feeling towards media engagement.

I welcomed a major corporate sponsor for my flagship program and with that sponsorship came the need for media visibility. I reached out to Georgie as I was really familiar with the work she had done with Buy From the Bush. She was quick to jump on board and quick to improve EVERYTHING. Georgie and Zelda helped me understand and craft my message,  helped me understand how to capitalise on any media opportunity and really get my message to the viewers.

In 5 months Georgie has secured features in multiple national outlets including a 7 page feature in Country Style, Women’s Weekly, Vogue Magazine, The Age, The Morning Show, The Today Show, Sky News, Studio Ten to name a few. IN addition to multiple radio interviews and podcasts. So far we are up to over 300 media mention and close to 18 million views.

The growth for Connected AU following these features has been incredible and Georgie and Zelda do it all with a wonderful and friendly manner, they become part of the team and have been game-changing for Connected AU.

Lisa Messenger | The Collective Hub

Georgie is one of the most fabulous humans on the planet. Her ability to form connections, get along with everyone, come up with killer story ideas and angles and secure fabulous cross platform media coverage is second to none. Every single media outlet that she has worked with on my behalf bar none has come back with glowing reviews saying she is literally the nicest, most professional, helpful person they have ever worked with. She never questions my crazy ideas, has the ability to run a million miles an hour and has become the greatest sounding board, trusted friend and professional sidekick I could ever hope for. I can’t recommend Georgie highly enough.

Belinda Allitt | Head of Communications | Agrifutures

Generating media for an event which was new to our agricultural industry was no easy task but Georgie excelled at the work and was attentive to the detail and end result at every step of the way. Georgie is genuine, down to earth and is truly passionate about the regional communities she works and lives in. She works hard to build strong relationships with reporters and journalists and likes to think outside of the box when it comes to media coverage.

Jonas Widjaja | Fair Game Wild Venison

Georgie from The Regional PR Co. helped our organisation attract significant media exposure and coverage for our inaugural agrifood tech event called evokeAG. She is so good, we’ve asked her to help us out again for the second edition of the international event. The coverage Georgie generated resulted in a boost in ticket sales, an increased awareness of our event and our objectives and ongoing media post-event. She went to great lengths to understand our messaging, target audience and key goals before generating content and building relationships with both regional and metro contacts in the industry.

Georgie and her team have provided media opportunities for my business far beyond my expectations. The combination of a well thought-out approach, and her friendly manner has proven to produce excellent results with many highly respected and industry specific media outlets.

Sam Noon | Deputy Editor | Farmer Magazine

I have had the pleasure of working with Georgie Robertson on a number of different projects over the last two years, mostly within the agricultural industry, such as the evokeAg event. Her attention to detail and passion for what she does makes her a stand out businesswoman, who I’d wholeheartedly recommend. Georgie goes above and beyond for her clients and in return creates widely successful content campaigns that raise important issues to the public eye and do so in creative ways.

Tara Toomey | Seasons of New England

I really can't say enough about the impact Georgie had on our events. We had two connected but different events to deliver and she supported the promotion of both seamlessly. She understood what we needed and connected us with the most relevant media. I saw traction in terms of ticket sales, social media engagement and website traffic. Can't wait to work with you again Georgie!
